  In June I read nine books. Four were ARCs. And two were by new-to-me author Koko Heart- who has been on my TBR for ages. I will tell you, I had an amazing month of reads. Considering I was traveling 8 days of the month I definitely think I did more than alright. I enjoyed the mix I was able to pull from my TBR with the ATCs I received. I love mixing it up. I also love bingeing a new author, which I haven't been able to do in a long time. I am thoroughly enjoying Koko's Cooper Sisters series and I won't be able to stop till I am done.   It isn't quite the weekend, but we are leaving on Friday for a couple weeks and I will be effectively on vacation and out of the country.   March is off to a running start with three ARCs read this week. These were all amazing reads and you should grab them today. The Unbreaking of a Heart (Heart Sisters #1)  by Annie Dyer ARC: Release Date- 02/27/2026 #FriendsToLovers #NeurodiverseMC #SlowBurn #ARC Written in first person from an alternating dual POV, this first book in a spin off series can be read as a standalone and ends with a HEA. Readers first meet Rose in the Callaghan Green series book 10. Readers see her meet Carter at the end of Elevator Pitch (book 11). This book begins almost 20 years later, and we learn of the enduring friendship they have shared. Rose is a character I have loved from the beginning. I love her brilliant mind and her ability to overthink things. Carter has just finished his medical residency in the US when he moved back to London in the hopes he and Rose might be able to be more than just friends. But he has also made a decision that complicates that and creates a little bit of doub...

  February came and went in the blink of an eye. I read one ARC, and two new-to-me authors. I also mood read a monster romance by the fabulous Caroline Lee/Veronika Kane. I was able to attend the Wild & Windy West book signing in Phoenix where I met both Jade Dollston and Sara L. Hudson. They were both wonderful and I have special edition books on my shelf now to prove it. I was glad I was able to go to the signing. With the way the last 12 months have gone, that was never guaranteed. All four of these books were true gems and I can't believe I am almost to the end of the first week in March before getting this blog review post finished. I am very excited about getting back to the three series I started in February, but I will tell you that March and April are stacked with ARCs and I am just trying to keep up. Check my reviews.   Well, we are nine days into a new year and I have managed to read two books- both ARCs. The world is more than a little crazy. My personal life has been in turmoil. Everything feels like it's falling apart. Occasionally, I can focus enough to escape. Both of these books made me laugh and smile. Both of these books made me feel lighter in dark times. I appreciate these authors for creating these stories  more than I can say. They beamed some light into my life. You should read them.   I can't believe we are at the end of August! It has been a crazy busy month on the home-front, but I managed to read seven more books from the 18th through the 31st. (I am starting another book today, of course, but I won't finish before midnight.) Of those seven, four were ARCs and two were new-to-me authors. Two were also novella length reads.  The ARCs were phenomenal. You really should add them to your list. I also read Mel Walker for the first time. He has been on my list for a long time.   This first week of July, I read two ARCs. Then I read a few novellas. I finished reading Swati M.H.'s backlist with Momcom Vacation. I read another Jess Bryant book on my list. I had forgotten how much I love male-male romance. Jess has reminded me beautifully.  Then I decided to have give in to my ADHD and read some stuff outside of my normal comfort zone. I kept seeing posts on social media about Unhinged. I was curious. When I looked and saw that it was in KU and only 80 pages, I decided to sate my curiosity and give it a try. You will see in my review that I as pleasantly surprised. I seriously admire the creativity necessary to make a door into a hero worth loving. Then I fell down a smutty rabbit hole. I have also been seeing a lot of hotwife and freeuse recs online. I had never read any, but I had picked up a few on the last Stuff Your Kindle day. They too were very short and I decided...why not?
