Book reviews for books read in June 2026

In June I read nine books. Four were ARCs. And two were by new-to-me author Koko Heart- who has been on my TBR for ages. I will tell you, I had an amazing month of reads. Considering I was traveling 8 days of the month I definitely think I did more than alright. I enjoyed the mix I was able to pull from my TBR with the ATCs I received. I love mixing it up. I also love bingeing a new author, which I haven't been able to do in a long time. I am thoroughly enjoying Koko's Cooper Sisters series and I won't be able to stop till I am done. (I am also including the review of my last read from May below as I apparently did not add it to my blog when the hubby was hospitalized last month.)  Check out my reviews and add these fabulous books to your TBR. Until next time, happy reading!   Happy weekend!  I read five books this week.  Four were ARCs of books releasing in the next week and one was by an author I wanted to read more of to meet a reading challenge.  All were books you should consider adding to your TBR.   I am keeping this short this weekend.  I have a ton of ARCs to read so I  will get to it.  Wishing everyone a fabulous week reading excellent books. Book reviews from the week of February 5th

I had a fabulous week.   I am traveling with my youngest daughter this week to watch the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships.  Reading took a little bit of a back burner this week. I still read 2 novels and 2 novellas. All of them were new to me authors in preparation for attending Holiday with the Belles in Dallas at the end of the month.  I hope my reviews help you find a few new authors love.  Love War (Battlefield of Love #1 by Cary Hart #SingleDad #SingleMom #SecondChance #Debut #SmallTown 4 STARS Book one in the Love War series can be read as a standalone and ends with a HEA. It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV. Aubrey and Drew are both recently leaving their marriages behind in divorce and learning the new normal of shared custody and coparenting apart. Both of their exes are real pieces of work. When they keep running into each other again and again, they give into their attraction to each other. It helps that their daug...

Book reviews from the week of March 21st

I had a terrific week of reading.  I had three very good ARCs and the opportunity to read some new-to-me authors.  I also completed two reading challenges for the month.  There are some amazing releases this week and in the coming month.  Make sure to check the New Releases and Coming Soon pages for links. Oops, I've fallen by Max Monroe ARC: Release Date 3/27/2021 #OppositesAttract #RomanticComedy #ARC 5 STARS Love is ageless in a community of the aging. I loved this story of Carly and Ryan falling in love while taking care of their respective parents.  It is written in first person In addition to Carly and Ryan’s POV, the reader also has glimpses of POV from Ryan’s dad, Sal, and Carly’s mom, Stella. Ryan is a Type A, follow-the-rules kind of guy.  He only takes action once it is carefully considered, and the consequences are thoughtfully weighed.  Carly is a fun-loving ski instructor and business owner.  She is spontaneous, a little wild,...
