Book reviews for the week of November 26th to November 30th

It is hard to believe we are on the last day of November.  This year has flown by so fast!  Since Sunday, I have read two ARCs and listened to a holiday book novella by a new-to-me author. Both Samantha Young's and Sariah Wilson's books were set in Scotland.  If my family catches me with a slight Scottish accent, then this is why.  Piper Rayne next release also happens to be the last ARC I am scheduled to read for a 2023 release.  For the month of December, or at least the first half of it, I am going to be able to indulge my mood reader without deadlines.  I am looking at my TBR now to see where my reading will go.  I hope these reviews help you anticipate some new reads to add to your TBR.  As always, I wish you a week of happy endings. Among the Heather (The Highlands Series #2)  by Samantha Young ARC: Release Date- 12/05/2023 #EnemiesToLovers #RomanticSuspense #SmallTown #ARC 4 STARS The title of this book is absolutely perfect for this s...

Book reviews from the week of June 19th

Happy weekend!  I am getting my blog post finished at the very last minute this week.  I am truly surprised I was able to read four full length books and a novella with everything going on here this week.  My daughter decided it was time to get her own place.  She is moving to a small lakefront studio in the mountains of Colorado about 40 minutes away.  Her landlord agreed to let her paint before moving in.  As a mom with a lot of painting experience, I volunteered to help and ended up surprising her by spending three days painting while she was at work.  Her little decorator vision is coming to life and it is going to be a super cute space. That said, I read some amazing books this week.  Tal Bauer and Mariah Stone were both new to me authors.  "You & Me" is going to be a favorite reread of mine; I already know it.  I also read two ARCs.  Neither of those authors disappoint me with their small town romance and they deliv...

Book reviews for the week of August 29th

Happy weekend!  I read one ARC this week and four books from my TBR for various reading challenges.  I am also continuing to read new-to-me authors for the upcoming book signings this fall.  B. Celeste is a new-to-me author and her new book was an journey in healing and trust.  I FINALLY read Landside by Kathryn Nolan, which has been on my TBR forever, and it was amazing.  I also read book by three authors who are planning to attend the Holidays with the Belles signing in Dallas later this month.  I have read Jenika Snow before, but her time travel romance took me on a steamy journey back to a Viking village for a quick and entertaining read.  Heather M. Orgeron's Pour Judgement was a fun read full of music star ego and skater chick snark.  I loved it and I am looking forward to reading more by her.  Andrea Johnston made me fall in love with her Military Men of Lexington.  I am still thinking about that book days later---so good!...
