  In June I read nine books. Four were ARCs. And two were by new-to-me author Koko Heart- who has been on my TBR for ages. I will tell you, I had an amazing month of reads. Considering I was traveling 8 days of the month I definitely think I did more than alright. I enjoyed the mix I was able to pull from my TBR with the ATCs I received. I love mixing it up. I also love bingeing a new author, which I haven't been able to do in a long time. I am thoroughly enjoying Koko's Cooper Sisters series and I won't be able to stop till I am done.   In the last 21 days of the longest month in existence, I read four ARCs. Two were hockey romances. Two were single dad. All were fantastic. The hubby and I took a week off in California to spend some time with family. Though it impacted my reading, I wouldn't trade those memories for anything.   Welcome to the end of 2025. In December I read a total of 8 books plus a collection of erotic short stories that I left unrated. In this post you will find reviews for my last 5 reads of the year. After taking a step back from several ARCs these last few months, I found myself really leaning into mood reading. I found myself drawn to FB ads while mindlessly scrolling and gave into the urge to check out those books on several occasions. It was delightful. I hope my reviews help you find your next read.   June has been a crazy month. This last week I have been able to read an ARC, a book I had to pass on the ARC in April, two books from my TBR, and a reread of one of my favorites through read & listen. I honestly loved them all for different reasons.  One of the best things about romance is that there are so many sub-genres, tropes, and now micro tropes, that I never fail to find exactly what I need. This week I also read two new-to-me authors. One has been on my list for a while. The other was an impulse and a novella that came at the perfect time.   June has been a heck of a month. My husband has had 2 hospital admissions so far and we are only 23 days in. It has me off my groove a little bit.   Happy weekend and Happy 2025! I am starting the year strong. I have read 3 ARCs, 1 full-length novel, and 3 more novellas so far this year. The 3 ARCs were all fun reads, the next book in the Boston Billionaire Bachelors series was a fun ride, and the three monster novellas were still an enjoyable escape from reality.  I am traveling unexpectedly this month after my dad was hospitalized.  I will spend the next week in West Virginia helping my brother and helping my dad get some strength back before I return home. I am hopeful that means some dedicated reading time while I am here since there is no shortage of snow. Until next week, happy reading.
