  February came and went in the blink of an eye. I read one ARC, and two new-to-me authors. I also mood read a monster romance by the fabulous Caroline Lee/Veronika Kane. I was able to attend the Wild & Windy West book signing in Phoenix where I met both Jade Dollston and Sara L. Hudson. They were both wonderful and I have special edition books on my shelf now to prove it. I was glad I was able to go to the signing. With the way the last 12 months have gone, that was never guaranteed. All four of these books were true gems and I can't believe I am almost to the end of the first week in March before getting this blog review post finished. I am very excited about getting back to the three series I started in February, but I will tell you that March and April are stacked with ARCs and I am just trying to keep up. Check my reviews.     Wrapping up 2024 with two more monster romance novellas and two full length novels by Piper Rayne, including an ARC of today's release which happens to be their longest book yet. I went to their back list and read Smitten forst because I wanted to see Henry and Jade as children. I am glad I did. It connected me to their characters in a way that I would have missed otherwise. They have a tough time finding their HEA and knowing their history really helped me hang in there for them. The two monster novellas were good, steamy, fun reads.  I had a great reading year.   Happy weekend! This week I read one ARC, two books from my TBR, and a new-to-me author just for fun. I was a week with variety that I appreciated while I have been traveling.  I left Colorado on Wednesday and have been to Pennsylvania, Maryland, and West Virginia in a few days. I will be spending the next two weeks here in West Virginia with my dad while he has surgery and my brother is taking a well-deserved break to go to Sturgis, SD. I will be caring for the cows and goats while I am here and I found out this morning that four of the goats are expected to kid while I am here.  I am hoping they don't run into any issues because my experience in that area is from the show Call the midwife and I'm not sure how helpful that would actually be. I have a few ARCs to read while I am here, but I am really hoping I get a chance to tackle some more books from the TBR. We'll see how that goes. Dad has a habit of finding projects for me.   Happy weekend. This week I read three ARCs and two books from my TBR.  All three ARCs will release the first week of June and the two books on my TBR have been on my kindle for a while. They served as perfect palette cleansers between these wonderful ARCs. Both books from my TBR offered heroines with disability. In The Marquess and I, Willow is blind. In Wolf Signs, the heroine is deaf. I felt like the authors handled both situations well within their stories and it made them interesting reads.   Happy Friday!  This week I read two ARCs, one prequel, and one hot new release off my TBR. It was great to mix it up a little. I was thrilled to squeeze in Lilian Harris' new book when I was caught up on ARCs for a day. I highly recommend it, especially if you like mafia romance and a burly, Irish MMC. Piper Rayne brought me into their new series set on the Plain Daisy Ranch in Nebraska with their prequel and book one of the series.  I loved reading as Ben gets his HEA with the girl he thought was lost to him. Finally, I read the final book in Swati M.H.'s series as Hudson and Kavi overcome their age gap and a whole host of other obstacles because they were absolutely perfect for each other in every way.   I had an amazing reading week and I hope you did too.   Happy weekend! And Happy Easter to those celebrating. I have been traveling for the last ten days. I attended The Sweetgrass Author Event in Charleston, SC last weekend. I was also able to spend a little time there sightseeing and eating delicious low country cuisine. Then I flew to Pittsburgh and drove to WV to spend time with my dad.
