  This review post is late due to a family emergency that happened about ten days ago now. I feel like I am finally getting my self together a little bit today and was able to put this together finally. During the last week of the month, I read one ARC, one book for book club, and three smutty novellas. Check out my reviews and add so books to your TBR today. My month in review. September turned out to be a good reading month for me. Most of the ARCs that I read that released in September, I actually read in August. That freed up some time to read from my TBR and finish two reading challenges. During the last week of the month, I finished the A to Z reading challenge. Earlier this month, I completed the B.A.N.G. Book Club reading challenge. I also took this as an opportunity to read new-to-me authors and fit in several novellas.   I read four books this week to finish out February. One ARC, one book that has been on my TBR for a while, and two books by new-to-me author Tara Sivec.  I love when the romance community comes together to support their own and they did it with style on February 26th, declaring it Tara Sivec Day. Tara is an author battling an aggressive breast cancer and readers were encouraged to buy and read Tara's books to help with her astronomical medical costs. The first book of her Naughty Princess Club series has been on my kindle for several months, so reading that series seemed like the easiest place to start for me. As an author, she has actually been hovering on my list for years. I remember Pippa Grant mentioning her in a newsletter as a laugh out loud author. I have been meaning to read her work ever since. This month, her day was the push I needed and I am blown away by her humor, comedic timing, and fun characters.  Check out my reviews and add all of these to your TBR. ...

  Happy weekend!  This week I read one new release and four ARCs. I feel like I am getting back into the groove of where I like to be, and I am coming close to finishing ARCs for October release.   This last week I read four ARCs. They were all very different, which gave me a wonderful variety for the week. It was fabulous. You really can't go wrong with any of these. The Body in the Back Yard (Riley Thorn #4) by Lucy Score ARC: Release Date- 7/16/2024 #Mystery #Paranormal #ARC Written in third person from an alternating dual POV, this series should be read in order for best effect. I love Riley and how her self-confidence has grown throughout the series. I love Nick. Sometimes oblivious, this book is where he really begins to understand that he sees forever with Riley. His self-revelations are funny and cute. They have wonderful chemistry and banter. There are steamy moments and I love their intimate times together. The mystery brings twists and turns and many laugh out loud moments. The elderly battalion seems a little ridiculous at times, but since I love those characters, I could look past it. I love...

  Happy weekend! This week I caught the flu.  When stuck at home not allowed to go to work, what should I do?  I read of course. (After I was feeling better than the initial yuck.) I finished three ARCs, three books for reading challenges by two new-to-me authors, and one audiobook novella.  It was quite a week.  I read everything from sex club fantasy hot times to closed door fantasy romance.   Happy weekend!  I read four ARCs this week.  Two were the remaining books in the four book Mom Coms series, and two were football romances.   I really enjoyed the entire Mom Coms series.  It was interconnected in a way you rarely see from a multi-author series.  The characters were fun and there were lots of laughs through the entire series.  Of course, all of these books pack some heat too, which I love.  The two football romances are both different and were very enjoyable.  In common: both couples have a history that enhances their relationship. I love reading football romances this time of year as everyone is gearing up for the Super Bowl. I find that I love a cinnamon roll or golden retriever hero.  I did marry one, so that makes sense. I also find that I am hardest on the heroines in books that have one of those heroes.  Is that just me?  I feel a little guilty sometimes.  Like, maybe I should be more supportiv...
