  September is going by quickly. So far this month I have read one ARC, three other books from my TBR, and four novellas. (I scored a bunch of steamy novellas on a free insta-love romance day. I am enjoying reading those in the evening instead of starting a new book that will keep me up too late.) I also DNF'd my first book in a while. Amazingly, all nine books were by new-to-me authors! What an incredible start to a month, right? Funny story about the ARC: I have met J.R. Gray on several occasions at book signings and he has been on my list to read for a while. Because I like him as a person and his books sounded so good, I have signed up to promote many of his books as they release, knowing I would eventually get to read them too. The PR company he is using for this upcoming release emailed me that I could have an ARC (that I didn't sign up for) and after looking at my calendar, I realized I had time to read it!   In November so far I have visited Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Utah, and my home state of Colorado. I helped my daughter paint and ready her first home and helped mov her in. I visited with most of my family. And I have spent time off-roading with my husband in our bronco. I also worked a few shifts at the job that pays me and have tried to keep my household running with limited success.  As a result, my reading has suffered. I did manage to read three ARCs on time, and these are those reviews. I hope you get a chance to check out the new holiday romances by Piper Rayne and Emily Silver. If you haven't read the Alchemy series yet by Elodie Hart, it is now complete and includes Always Alchemy.   Happy Monday! I was out of town for the weekend and I am excited to bring you these reviews today. I read five books this week. Two were ARCs, and three were from my TBR to fulfill reading challenges. "Bear the Consequences" returned me to Rochelle Paige and the next book in her Fated Mates series after I left off way too long ago at the end of book three. It met a reading challenge requirement for a shifter romance and was a quick and fun read. I read "Wyld & Dirty" by J.A. Low. It was my first book by her and I really enjoyed it. It checked three boxes for me: rockstar romance, author from the Southern Hemisphere (she is Australian), and a book by an author I get to meet in Las Vegas next weekend. I also read "King's Crown" my Marie Johnston.   Can you believe that July is over?  I cannot.  I have been traveling for the last week so I decided that I would hold this post to go through reviews for the rest of July and post it August 1st. I read three ARCs and one book off my TBR in the last week or so.  They were all excellent reads.  I hope my reviews help you find some new books to add to your TBR.   Happy weekend!  I am getting my blog post finished at the very last minute this week.  I am truly surprised I was able to read four full length books and a novella with everything going on here this week.  My daughter decided it was time to get her own place.  She is moving to a small lakefront studio in the mountains of Colorado about 40 minutes away.  Her landlord agreed to let her paint before moving in.  As a mom with a lot of painting experience, I volunteered to help and ended up surprising her by spending three days painting while she was at work.  Her little decorator vision is coming to life and it is going to be a super cute space.
