  Happy weekend! My daughter visited for a week and I spent several days reading 6 novellas in the Berserkers Saga which was a perfect thing to read while she was here. I also finished the Tsenturion Warriors series finally. I love those big gold aliens. Be careful about swiping right for abduction, LOL. And I was able to read an ARC of Emily Silver's next release. This book was written as a special book for RARE London this year and will release in August. It was a thoroughly enjoyable start to a new series. I want to go back and finish the rest of the Berserker series and I am hoping to really get through some books on my TBR over the next couple months. Stay tuned for a lot of reviews as I do that.   This first week of July, I read two ARCs. Then I read a few novellas. I finished reading Swati M.H.'s backlist with Momcom Vacation. I read another Jess Bryant book on my list. I had forgotten how much I love male-male romance. Jess has reminded me beautifully.  Then I decided to have give in to my ADHD and read some stuff outside of my normal comfort zone. I kept seeing posts on social media about Unhinged. I was curious. When I looked and saw that it was in KU and only 80 pages, I decided to sate my curiosity and give it a try. You will see in my review that I as pleasantly surprised. I seriously admire the creativity necessary to make a door into a hero worth loving. Then I fell down a smutty rabbit hole.   The last two weeks were a little hectic. In between working my paying job, I drove solo to attend Wild & Windy West in Glendale, AZ,and with the hubby to Denver for a medical procedure. The signing was amazing. The ladies of Wild & Windy know how to run a crowd. New locations always offer challenges and undoubtedly highlight areas to improve the next time around. For me? I had a blast. Connecting with other readers and the talented authors present was a balm to my soul and a landslide of books added to my TBR.  With that much driving in one week, I was able to listen to three audiobooks by new-to-me author Kristen Proby (whom I met in Glendale). I loved the story telling and creativity of the plot. It kept me alert while driving and I am forever grateful for that. I also read three arcs, a book by another WWW author, Jennifer Hartmann that has been on my TBR forever, and a novella. Older was so beautifully written, I think it has made a mark permanently on my soul. T...

  Happy weekend! I read five books this week. All by authors I have read previously.  I have continued with the Arranged Monster Mates novella series, gone back to the beginning of the Howl's Edge Island series, and read one of Susie Tate's that has been on my TBR. I also read an ARC by Harlow James that was amazing and Lilian Harris' new release which kept me n the edge of my seat. My dad is doing much better and I get to fly home tonight and resume all of my regular life duties and responsibilities.  I look forward to the books I have planned for the next week.   This week I read four novellas (including one reread) and one full length novel. This is the time of year where I am trying desperately to wrap up annual reading challenges. I an still just a little short of my 200 book goal for the year, but I still have 10 more days. I did manage to complete the monthly challenge in Claire Kingsley's group with the last item being a reread of a holiday favorite. "Unwrapped" was the perfect answer for that.  I also completed the A to Z Challenge and a full card Bingo for Carol's Crazy Bookish World.
