Book reviews from the week of March 12th

Happy weekend!  I read three arcs and two books from my TBR this week.  I had n amazing week because these were all excellent reads.  Small town, big city, sports, BDSM, single parent: this week had it all.  I am a lucky lady to get to read this much, I know.  Check out my reviews and add these to your TBR if they grab you.  Until next week, happy reading. Flirting With Forever (Dirty Martini Running Club #4)  by Claire Kingsley ARC: Release Date- 03/16/2023 #SingleDad #OppositesAttract #ARC 5 STARS Sometimes trouble is exactly what you need. Nora: the gorgeous, confident, perfectly put together friend in the group of four ladies.  I have been waiting for her happy ending and the author does not disappoint.  Dex is her next-door neighbor.  As a single dad of a wonderful 13-year-old girl, he has his hands full navigating puber

Book reviews from the week of March 5th

What a week!  I had the opportunity to really settle in and read this week so I took that opportunity and ran with it.  I read three ARCs, one additional novel, and four novellas.  Two of those were by new-to-me authors.  As I look at my planned reading for the month, I have a fair amount of romantic suspense planned.  I know that for me, I have to mix in some lighter books when that happens.  Novellas are a perfect choice for that, especially when you find tried and true novella authors like Ember Davis and Fiona Davenport.   I will be traveling for the next couple of weeks, which always makes things interesting.  Hopefully I will get some audiobook time in along the way.  I hope my reviews help you find some new authors to love.  Happy reading! One Look (Sullivan Family #1) by Lena Hendrix ARC: Release Date- 03/10/2023 #SmallTown #GrumpySunshine #SingleDad #ARC 5 STARS This is book one in a new series.  It follows Wyatt Sullivan as he finds his HEA with Lark. It is written in first

Book reviews for the week March 1st through March 4th

This week I decided to split my posts so that February and March were separate.  Look for my most recent blog post to catch reviews from the beginning of last week. The beginning of March brought me a windfall of ARCs and I was able to read three of them so far.  Gina Azzi released her newest book on 03/02/23 and I was able to finish the ARC right before.  Kennedy L. Mitchell will release her newest on Wednesday.  If you love a morally gray hero and some suspense, check out my review.  You might love this one as much as I did.  Finally, I finished my week with Kait Nolan's next release.  "Grump in a Kilt" is a fun and low angst romantic read with mature characters.  All three of these ARCs were five star reads for me, even though they are all very different kinds of romance. I love a week with variety.  Check these out and add them to your TBR.   I wish everyone a week full of good books and happy reading. Bad Boy's Downfall (Tennessee Thunderbolts #6)  by Gina Azzi

Book reviews for February 26th - 28th

February was a fantastic month.  I read 24 books, attended the Holidays with the Belles signing, and completed another full card for Jessica Peterson's City Girls monthly reading challenge.  I read eleven new-to-me authors this month.  My reviews are always available on my blog. I hope they help other readers find their next great read. #ReadingChallenge Comeback Hero (Redleg Security #3) by Jackie Walker ARC: Release Date-02/28/2023 #RomanticSuspense #Workplace #HealingLove #Bodyguard #ARC 4.5 STARS Book three of this series can be read as a standalone and ends with a HEA.  It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV.  Readers should be aware that there are spoilers to other previous Redleg books in this third in series, so they can determine if they would rather read the series in order.  In addition, the author is conscientious and has a list of several potential triggers readers may want to be aware of prior to reading. Shep and Kri have a rough road to their H
