This week was a little crazy. Between the Super Bowl, traveling by plane and by car, and spending time visiting with family I only read two ARCs. Both of these upcoming releases were excellent and enjoyable reads that delivered more than just a HEA. As I continue traveling over the next week, I hope to read a few more books before I get ot the Music City with the Belles book signing in Nashville. Wishing everyone a safe and happy week full of books and cozy reading.

This book is the third book in the Nashville Fury series,
but it can be read as a standalone and ends with a HEA. It is written in first person from an
alternating dual POV.
Coming into this book, I had not read the previous two books
in the series. As a result, I had no
preconceived notions of Bryce. In some
ways that was very good because this book starts very differently form other
sports romances I have read. Bryce
begins his story at the bottom. He is
beyond a hot mess, and he doesn’t even realize how far he has fallen. Denial is a powerful thing. I really enjoyed Bryce’s journey of
self-discovery. He grows a lot over the
course of the story. I really
appreciated the way mental health is handled in the book and that even
superstars can struggle.
Lucy allows her family to push her around a bit in the
beginning. Actually, she kind of lets
everyone push her around, including Bryce.
She also grows over the course if the book as she learns to set
boundaries. Her relationship with Bryce
ultimately benefits.
There is a lot of heat and some angst as Bryce and Lucy
finally find the right time for both of them to build a successful
relationship. This was well-written and engaging. I really wanted them to figure things out in
a way that does their love justice, and they finally do. I really liked this and I look forward to
reading the first two books in the series.

This is book one in the Hellman Brothers series and is a standalone. It is written in first person from an
alternating dual POV and ends with a HEA.
The chemistry and sparks that fly between Ace and Addy are
fiery and intense. Initially they booth
feed into the near-hate that has festered between them since kindergarten. They are so very different, and they have to
learn to appreciate those differences in each other. There is heat, many
laughs, interesting secondary characters as well as cameos from some of our favorites. I can always count on this author to brighten
my day. Addy is truly one of my favorite
characters ever. Ace must become the man
Addy and I knew he could be, and when he does it is a beautiful thing. This is another winner and I can’t wait to
read more of the series.
