Excerpt:

He placed his hands on either side of her waist and looked into her eyes. Chloe felt something shift between them, a deeper understanding growing like a flower in the garden. Her heartbeat quickened.

Chris took a breath. “I’d really like to kiss you. May I?”

“Yes,” she said, shivers suddenly running over her arms. Her heart swelled. This is it.

Meanwhile, Chris could feel his own heart start to pound against his chest. “You’re so beautiful,” he said quietly as he lowered his mouth to hers.

He brushed his lips against hers and felt them open slightly. Tilting his head, he started to kiss her more deeply. She pressed her body into his and rested her hands on his shoulders. His hands loosened on her waist and slowly moved up to rest on the small of her back.

He used his left hand to pull her snugly to him while his right hand rubbed down her side to the hem of her T-shirt. Pulling it up slightly, he ran his fingers across her thigh. Still holding her pressed up against him, he continued kissing her slowly and deeply. She moaned and ran her hands down his arms to his waist.

Chris relaxed his grip on her back and released her mouth from his. Her eyes danced open and he could see the passion in them. They were both breathing more quickly now.

Stacey Komosinski grew up in a small Pennsylvania town strongly influenced by her mother's passion for reading. She read her first romance novel in her early twenties and hasn't stopped.

Book reviews for books read June 1st-14th

  Happy weekend!  It has been a busy couple of weeks but I managed to read 6 books. Two ARCs, and four books from my TBR. I have been working on reading the backlist of Swati M.H., and managed to read all but one of her books prior to assisting her at the HEA Reader Event in Indianapolis on June 7th. Then I joyfully read two ARCs, both over 400 pages. Then I needed something a little different. I needed to break away from traditional, contemporary romance and was able to fit in a paranormal rom com and a monster romance. Now I am back to ARCs.  There are so many good books to read. I am exceedingly grateful to the authors who have written and are writing books that suck me into their imaginary worlds. Thank you authors for giving me a way to escape reality for a little while and guaranteeing me that happy ending. Till next time, happy reading. Book reviews for books read September 21st-30th

  This review post is late due to a family emergency that happened about ten days ago now. I feel like I am finally getting my self together a little bit today and was able to put this together finally. During the last week of the month, I read one ARC, one book for book club, and three smutty novellas. Check out my reviews and add so books to your TBR today. My month in review. September turned out to be a good reading month for me. Most of the ARCs that I read that released in September, I actually read in August. That freed up some time to read from my TBR and finish two reading challenges. During the last week of the month, I finished the A to Z reading challenge. Earlier this month, I completed the B.A.N.G. Book Club reading challenge. I also took this as an opportunity to read new-to-me authors and fit in several novellas. Out of the 23 books I read and the 2 I did not finish, I read 19 new-to-me authors! That has to be a record for me. There is a place for smutty insta-love ...

  I can't believe it is June already! This last week of May I found myself binging a series by Swati M.H. I have made working on author backlists one of my goals this year. Next weekend I will be assisting this wonderful lady at the HEA Reader event. In an effort to finish reading the books in her backlist I grabbed this series from Kindle Unlimited. And then I didn't want to stop. I will be doing a series spotlight in a few days when I get my thoughts together. In the meantime, check out my reviews.
