Excerpt:
He placed his hands on either
side of her waist and looked into her eyes. Chloe felt something shift between
them, a deeper understanding growing like a flower in the garden. Her heartbeat
quickened.
Chris took a breath. “I’d
really like to kiss you. May I?”
“Yes,” she said, shivers
suddenly running over her arms. Her heart swelled. This is it.
Meanwhile, Chris could feel
his own heart start to pound against his chest. “You’re so beautiful,” he said
quietly as he lowered his mouth to hers.
He brushed his lips against
hers and felt them open slightly. Tilting his head, he started to kiss her more
deeply. She pressed her body into his and rested her hands on his shoulders.
His hands loosened on her waist and slowly moved up to rest on the small of her
back.
He used his left hand to pull
her snugly to him while his right hand rubbed down her side to the hem of her
T-shirt. Pulling it up slightly, he ran his fingers across her thigh. Still
holding her pressed up against him, he continued kissing her slowly and deeply.
She moaned and ran her hands down his arms to his waist.
Chris relaxed his grip on her
back and released her mouth from his. Her eyes danced open and he could see the
passion in them. They were both breathing more quickly now.
