  Happy weekend! I just finished my ARC of Lucy Score's book which is releasing this week. OMG! I loved it so much! My review really doesn't do justice to the feelings and laughter this book created within me. I also read two books from my TBR. I finished the 3rd book in the Naughty Princess Club by Tara Sivec, and I read my first book by JJ Knight. When life gets tough, laughter is the best medicine.   I read four books this week to finish out February. One ARC, one book that has been on my TBR for a while, and two books by new-to-me author Tara Sivec.  I love when the romance community comes together to support their own and they did it with style on February 26th, declaring it Tara Sivec Day. Tara is an author battling an aggressive breast cancer and readers were encouraged to buy and read Tara's books to help with her astronomical medical costs. The first book of her Naughty Princess Club series has been on my kindle for several months, so reading that series seemed like the easiest place to start for me. As an author, she has actually been hovering on my list for years. I remember Pippa Grant mentioning her in a newsletter as a laugh out loud author. I have been meaning to read her work ever since.   The last two weeks were a little hectic. In between working my paying job, I drove solo to attend Wild & Windy West in Glendale, AZ,and with the hubby to Denver for a medical procedure. The signing was amazing. The ladies of Wild & Windy know how to run a crowd. New locations always offer challenges and undoubtedly highlight areas to improve the next time around. For me? I had a blast. Connecting with other readers and the talented authors present was a balm to my soul and a landslide of books added to my TBR.  With that much driving in one week, I was able to listen to three audiobooks by new-to-me author Kristen Proby (whom I met in Glendale). I loved the story telling and creativity of the plot. It kept me alert while driving and I am forever grateful for that. I also read three arcs, a book by another WWW author, Jennifer Hartmann that has been on my TBR forever, and a novella. Older was so beautifully written, I think it has made a mark permanently on my soul. T...

  Happy weekend. Can you believe that January is over? In some ways it felt like it took forever and in others it flew right by. I read two ARCs and two books off my TBR this week. Personally, this week has brought huge changes to my life. I am hanging in there, but my brain is a little scattered and reading has been difficult.   Happy weekend! I decided that since I hit 7 books this week I should just go ahead and push this out today. I will read at least one more today but you will see that review next week. I had a gap between ARCs! I went back and finished the Kings of Avalier series that I started in February 2024.  SO GOOD! They are new adult, which is not my norm, but the fantasy realm made them un-put-down-able. I am thrilled to meet the author in Phoenix in a couple of weeks. I read the next book in the J. Saman series I am making my way through. Those Abbot-Fritz brothers are something else. I adore that whole family. I read four novellas with 2 of those being new-to-me authors. Coco Miller's book was a fun billionaire read, and Regine Abel's Prime Mating Agency was GOLD. You will see in my review that I loved this first in series book, and I am super excited to read the rest of them. I read a wonderful mafia novella by Lee Savino.
