Book reviews from the week of June 16th

Happy Monday! I spent most of last week on a little vacation with the hubby to Vernal, Utah, where we participated with Bronco Safari. We spent 4 days on off road trails and had a blast. What that also means thought is that I did not get to read very much. I finished two ARCs and they were both fun and easy reads. Check out my reviews and add these to your TBR.  Next week we will be at the end of June. It is hard to believe that the year is almost half over. How are you doing on your reading goals? I set mine for 200 and I think I am only a couple of books behind schedule.   The weekend is almost over as I type this but this is me running behind this week. What a week it has been! I have worked a lot at the job, the hubby had surgery, and we celebrated both my 33rd wedding anniversary and Father's Day.  I read one ARC, two books from my TBR, and one new-to-me author. After I finished the Harlow James ARC, I read an escort book by Leigh James that has been on my kindle for ages. After I read Lyndsey Gallagher's newest release, I started Escort Training which I think I picked up free a while back. That led me down a rabbit hole to reading the whole series. I have decided to review that whole series together as opposed to reviewing each book individually as they are really one story on three stages. It was a fabulous variety of reads this week and now I need to get serious and get back to ARCs. S

Book reviews from the week of June 1st

Happy weekend! This week I read 4 ARCS. I had a lot going on on the home front and these were the bright spots of my week. Check out my reviews and see if they are books you need in your TBR today. Until next time, happy reading. The Accidental Dating Experiment (How To Date #4)  by Lauren Blakely ARC: Release Date- 06/06/2024 #SecondChance #BrothersBestFriend #ForcedProximity #GrumpySunshine #ARC Book four in the series can be read as a standalone and ends with a HEA. Readers who have read the other books will enjoy the cameos and interactions that Monroe and Juliet have with those characters but knowing them is not necessary to enjoy this book. It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV. Juliet is an optimistic romantic with a penchant for picking the wrong guys to date. Monroe is the divorced best friend of her brother, her co-worker, and the man Juliet had a fling with eight years ago. Both characters deny their ability to be vulnerable in relationships and are no
